I have always been drawn to understanding the stories of others.

Growing up, I devoured novels, taking pleasure in immersing myself in the narratives of others. As well as reading, I gained a passion for acting. I felt most connected to the world when I was analyzing a character, feeling their emotions, and learning from their story.

While I’ve always been enamored of the idea of becoming a therapist, there were several moments in my life that led me to realize that it would be a good fit for me. The first was in high school, when my best friend came out to me. To listen as he revealed this hidden part of himself and give him comfort and pride in his identity was incredibly meaningful for both of us.

The second happened while I was interviewing Jewish women about sex and feminism to create an interview-based play. I was deeply touched by their openness and willingness to tell me their most personal tales of heartbreak, harassment, desire, joy, empowerment and more. It was such a privilege to listen to their stories, and I knew that this was something I wanted to continue to do for the rest of my life.

It is an honor to support my clients through moments of vulnerability, to affirm their identities, and to help them improve their relationships. From my own experience, I know that understanding your identity is a lifelong journey. I strive to help my clients create connection, safety and belonging as well as a sense of adventure and exploration in their relationships and in their lives.

I am a white, cisgender, bisexual, (culturally/ethnically) Jewish woman in a non-monogamous marriage. I am always learning more about the identities I hold and how these identities intersect with the world.
